6 Food Truck Start-Ups That Are Smashing It In Retail

One of the joys of what we do is watching the growth of new street food start-ups. It can be a tough slog building a food brand and developing concepts. We take a look at 6 epic food truck to retail businesses that we think you will love.

And don't forget that you can still book their food trucks for your next event via Love Street Food

Aldrin’s passion for South East Asian Cuisine reached an all time high after taking Laura with him on a trip back home to his roots in Manila. After experiencing the variety of food & culture that the Philippines had to offer, Laura was instantly hooked and couldn’t get enough!

Aldrin and Laura felt that Filipino food was largely overlooked in the foodie scene even though there is a large Pinoy community within Auckland. That's all changed now thanks to their modern spin on traditional Pinoy dishes that Filipino’s know and love.

4) Nom Nom Food Truck to Sapa Kitchen NZ

From their beginnings as the Nom Nom food truck to their first ever brick and mortar with Sapa Kitchen NZ in our food hall, Street Feast NZ.

Nom Nom's rice bowls are legendary and now they are adding other classic Vietnamese street food to their menus. Think Bahn Mi Baguettes, baked fresh every day and rich fragrant Pho noodle soup, wok fried rice, crispy chicken and so much more.

Bold, vibrant flavours and using only free range meats. SaPa has a strong vegan offering, plenty of gluten free dishes and a variety of options for kids to ensure that there is something special for everyone.

Brody & Josh, are a couple of chefs who have worked in some of New Zealand’s (and the world’s) best restaurants. With Jo Bros, they’re bringing fine dining precision to the humble burger and we reckon the results are pretty special.

They’re talking old school L.A. style classics with a fresh, local Kiwi twist. If you haven’t had one, you’re gonna want to try one ASAP!

Loco Bros is Josh & Brody’s take on traditional Mexican street food. The tacos are sensational and you have to try their Mexican fried chicken. It's finger lickin good. Both shops are open in our new food hall at Street Feast NZ in Titirangi.

Andy from Stumpy's has built a great following via both his Dominion Rd store and with his food truck.

Now you can enjoy his epic woodfired pizzas at his new store at Street Feast in Titirangi, West Auckland.

Stumpy's pizzas are renowned for their thin crispy bases. Each pizza is stretched and hand-spun to the right size, just the way it's been done for centuries in Italy.
