From Auckland food truck to stunning eatery
Owners Rod and Jenny have been rolling their hand crafted temaki cones for over 3 years from their Auckland Food Truck Temaki Truck. Having built up a huge following on the Street Food scene, they have now established permanent base at the new 'Eatery at Eastridge'.
Temaki sushi cones are a popular dish in Brazil and add to that the Korean influence of Jenny, you get an incredible flavour packed fusion menu that you will love. The new shared eating space at Eastridge Mall is the perfect setting for this Temakeria. The temakis are expertly rolled in front of you in an open plan kitchen and dining space that is both classy and in keeping with the clean, quality food that they are producing. We loved the temaki of course and have lost count of the number of these consumed over the years from their food truck. You must try the Chicken Karaage Don bowl and the Kimichi Pancake (photos below).
The service is impeccable and what makes it even better is that Rod and Jenny are two of the nicest, hardest working people in street food in Auckland. These two are why we love street food. Look out for the cute red food truck at street food events across Auckland.
